Nestor Gianaclis Cigarettes Queen Tin, Aged Patina Example, Circa 1900s-1920s

Lithographed tin for Nestor Gianaclis "Cigarettes Queen," with a mounted horseman in a desert landscape, palms and a framed brand label. Nestor Gianaclis founded his Cairo cigarette factory in 1864 and was one of the great names of the Egyptian cigarette trade. This example shows heavy wear, darkened varnish and rubbing, giving it a deep aged patina.
