Darjeeling Mountain Tea Tin, Ornate Figural Design, Circa 1910s-1930s

Ornately lithographed tea tin for Darjeeling Mountain Tea, featuring a figural portrait of a Himalayan tea worker in an elaborate carved-archway frame on the front, with a continuous hunting/equestrian scene wrapping the sides - high-quality continuous-wraparound lithography of this kind was typical of premium Indian tea exporters' packaging for the European market. Dates to approximately 1910s-1930s. Strong color retention throughout with age-appropriate wear to the high points and edges.
