Cafsa Cigarettes / Sigaretten Hinged Tin, Belgian Advertising, Circa 1920s-1930s

Bilingual French/Dutch "Cigarettes Cafsa Sigaretten" hinged tin with a bold portrait of a smiling North African smoker in a white turban, a cigarette in his lips and a Cafsa pack in hand. The bilingual text points to the Belgian market, where Orientalist cigarette brands were common between the wars. Interior is plain tin. Shows wear, scratches and edge rubbing.
