Victorian Intaglio Watch Fob on Double Curb Chain, Circa 1870s-1890s

Swivel watch fob set with a red intaglio carved with a classical warrior's head, in a gilt rope frame, hanging from a double curb chain with a slide. Intaglio fobs could double as a seal for pressing wax on letters. Shows wear consistent with age.
