Victorian Hairwork Memorial Scene with Weeping Willow and Monument in Round Glazed Frame, Circa 1840s-1860s

Round memorial picture with a weeping willow, wheat and flowers worked in human hair beside a tiny inscribed monument, under glass with a gilt bezel in a square dark wood frame. The willow-and-tomb scene was the classic mourning image of the early and mid-19th century. Shows age to the frame.
