Turkish State Tobacco Monopoly (Türkiye Tütün İnhisarı) Cigarette Tin, Circa 1930s-1940s

Cigarette tin from the Türkiye Tütün İnhisarı, the Turkish Republic's state tobacco monopoly ("Monopole d'État des Tabacs de Turquie"), with the crescent and star in an ornate red and gold border. The monopoly replaced the Ottoman-era Régie in the 1920s. Shows wear and rubbing.
