Pewter "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" Bread Tray with Darkened Patina, Circa 1950s-1970s

Oval pewter bread tray with a raised wheat harvest scene framed by the Gothic-lettered words "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" from the Lord's Prayer, the recessed details darkened with age so the design stands out.

Blessing trays like this were made for the family table, so that the bread was served beneath the words of grace. Light wear.
