Nestor Gianaclis Queen Cigarettes Tin, Circa 1900s-1930s
$50.00 USD
Cigarette tin for the "Queen" line from Nestor Gianaclis, one of the most celebrated Egyptian cigarette manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th century, founded in Cairo and later absorbed into the Eastern Tobacco Company. This example carries a knight/armored-figure graphic, part of the elaborate heraldic and Orientalist imagery Gianaclis used across its product lines to signal luxury and exotic origin to European and American smokers. Dates to approximately 1900s-1930s. Good color retention with age-appropriate wear.
