Dental Office Hanging Sign, Daniel Hensen D.D.S. and Lillian A. Nawrocki D.D.S., Circa 1930s-1950s

Painted hanging trade sign reading "Dental Office, Daniel Hensen, D.D.S., Lillian A. Nawrocki, D.D.S." in bold black lettering on a cream ground. Women made up only a small share of American dentists through the mid-20th century, which makes a sign naming a woman practitioner a notable survivor. Shows paint loss, scratches and weathering from outdoor use.
