Caravellis Freres Egyptian Cigarettes Tin, Circa 1920s

Lithographed tin for Caravellis Freres Egyptian Cigarettes, "Turkish Tobacco," illustrated with ancient Egyptian figural vignettes and a Nile/pyramid scene - Caravellis was a well-documented Egyptian-cigarette exporter whose tins (dated by collectors to the 1920s) regularly surface in Dutch and broader European tobacciana collections. Dates to approximately 1920s. Shows expected rust spotting and wear to the lithographed surface consistent with genuine age.
