August Flower and German Syrup Advertising Thermometer, Boschee, Circa 1900s-1920s

Round dial advertising thermometer for Green's August Flower ("for Liver, Indigestion, Constipation") and Boschee's German Syrup ("for Coughs, Colds, Bronchitis"). Both were flagship patent medicines of G.G. Green of Woodbury, New Jersey, among the most heavily advertised remedies of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Shows staining and wear to the dial.
